Jon began his career in dental technology in 1991. Today, as Technical Director at Smile-Vision, he oversees a staff of technicians specializing in fixed high esthetic and full mouth reconstruction cases.
In addition to being a Certified Dental Technician, Jon is a graduate of the Masters program in Dental Technology at the NYU College of Dentistry and a Certified Cerec inLab trainer and Beta Tester. He regularly attends postgraduate courses in dental technology, implants, and other relevant dental topics.
Jon has been working with the Cerec in-Lab CAD-CAM system at Smile-Vision since 2002. In 2003 his was one of the first 4 laboratories in the US to mill and sinter Vita Zirconia for dental restorations. Jon authored a technique article in the February 2011 issue of LMT Magazine titled “How to Fabricate Anterior Pressed-to-Zirconia Restorations” and February 2014 issue of LMT magazine titled “a systematic approach to case fabrication using Sirona’s inLab system”
